I’m hopping up and down with excitement! I feel in toadal chaos!

I’ve been nominated for the Mumpreneur Awards and I have a badge to prove it! Thanks to Cathy Edge for nominating me and filling in the humungous form (did you make up all those nice things you said about me?) I’m looking forward to going to the event on 18th September and meeting up with lots of other Mums in business.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with one of my true stories which made me laugh rather a lot: I met a very nice young man last week who told me how, when still in school, he plucked up the courage to phone a girl he had a huge crush on.  ’Hello’ ‘Hello, this is S, I just wanted to tell you I think you’re really nice…..’etc etc He told her how much he liked her and finally asked if she would go out with him. ‘Um, you’re speaking to her brother, um..I’ll just go and get her’ S put the phone down quickly and with some regret of having made the call. S says the brother had a really high voice and sounded so like a girl. S said it got round school pretty quickly the next day, everyone soon knew who he was!
